Voorbereidende werkzaamheden voor de Life is Beautiful patronen.

Gisterenavond heb ik alle strijkpatronen voor LiB uitgeknipt. Vandaag heb ik lapjes van 7 inch gesneden en de strijkpatronen op de lapjes gestreken. Ik vond dit een hele lastige en spannende aangelegenheid. Ik heb dan ook 2 lapjes verknoeid. Ik moet er nu nog 12 doen. Ik heb ook de witte achterkanten geknipt en op de stof gestreken. En nu kan het feest echt beginnen. Ik ga ze eerst allemaal borduren. De applique doe ik als laatste.

Yesterday evening I cut out all the iron-on patterns. Today I cut the 7 inch fabric squares en ironed the patterns on the fabric. It was a tricky thing and I spoiled 2 squares of fabric.I still have 12 more to go. I also cut out the white cotton backs and ironed them on as well. And now the party can start. I'll do the stitchery first and the applique at the end.
