IGquiltfest2023 dag 1

Hi you all, 👋 

My name is Marina and I live in Amsterdam, in the Netherlands. 

This is de first time I am participating in #igquiltfest. 

I am a retired elementary school principal. 

I have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. 

They all have quilts, ofcourse! 😉 

I started quilting in 2008, after discovering the rotary cutter and rulers! 

I like to make contemporary colorful quilts and lately started working with solids! 

A new adventure! 

I am a machine piecer and long arm quilter. 

I am member of the MQG and just returning from #Quiltcon2023 in Atlanta. 

I had a wonderfull time there! 

I am also ambassador to the Netherlands for the MQG.
